CM KP Free Laptop Scheme for Deserving Students
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced a KP free laptop scheme 2025 for students across the province, promising the same distribution ratio as Punjab.
“If Punjab provides laptops to a certain percentage of students, we will match that,” Gandapur said.
He also urged Punjab’s administration to introduce a free health insurance scheme similar to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s.
Talking about healthcare, he shared, “Every resident in our province benefits from the Sehat Card Plus, and we’ve now added life insurance as well.” He called on Punjab to offer similar benefits to its people.

Discussing economic matters, he claimed the province had increased its revenue by 55%, despite financial challenges. Comparing figures with Punjab, he remarked, “Their revenue growth is just 12%. They should reach 55% like us.”
Regarding financial management, he said KPK had achieved a budget surplus of Rs176 billion and met all International Monetary Fund (IMF) targets.
“Punjab was given an IMF surplus target of Rs300 billion but ended up with a deficit of Rs146 billion,” he pointed out.
