The Council of Islamic Ideology has shared the Fitrana and Fidya rates for Ramadan 2025 in Pakistan.
Dr. Raghib Hussain Naeemi, who leads the council, has set the minimum Zakat Fitr and Fidya at Rs220 per person based on wheat prices. He urged those with greater financial means to contribute accordingly. Fitrana is obligatory for every free Muslim, regardless of gender.

Dr. Naeemi explained that anyone who intentionally breaks a fast must either fast for 60 consecutive days or provide two meals each to 60 underprivileged individuals.
For those using government-subsidized flour, Fitrana and Fidya amounts can be made at a lower rate of Rs160 per person.
