Islamabad will host its fifth annual marathon on January 26, 2025, with over 3,000 athletes from Pakistan and abroad. Qasim Naz, founder of Islamabad Run with Us, confirmed the event’s details in a press release on Friday. Since its launch in 2020, the marathon has gained international recognition.
Islamabad Marathon Categories and Prize Money
The marathon offers a prize pool of one million rupees, with five categories:
- Full Marathon
- Half Marathon
- Children’s Race
- Family Race
- Senior Race
Naz emphasized inclusivity and family-friendliness in the event’s design.

Race Details
Starting at 9 a.m. from New Iran Enclave, the race will follow a scenic yet challenging route to GT Road and back, showcasing Islamabad’s natural beauty.
