Sindh is taking an important step toward supporting the transgender community by introducing the province’s first-ever education policy specifically for them. The chief minister has instructed the education department to move forward with this initiative, marking a milestone for inclusivity in the country.

According to Sindh government spokesperson Sukhdev Assardas Hemnani, Sindh is currently the only province working on a dedicated policy for transgender education. This reflects a strong commitment to creating equal opportunities and fostering a sense of belonging for marginalized groups.
