Punjab Schools to Launch Technical Education Program

The Punjab government will launch technical education in public schools across the province starting with the new academic year. This initiative will bring technical subjects to middle and high school levels, giving students practical skills to help them in their future careers.

Khalid Nazir Wattoo, Secretary for School Education in Punjab, has directed the printing of textbooks designed specifically for this program. Education officials across the province have been asked to report the number of students enrolling in these technical education programs.

The curriculum will cover areas such as agriculture, information technology, health sciences, and fashion design. These subjects aim to prepare students for real-world challenges and potential career opportunities.
