Neymar Hints at MSN Reunion and Eyes 2026 World Cup Glory

The legendary trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, and Neymar, known as “MSN,” might reunite soon, as Neymar hinted. From 2014 to 2017, they led FC Barcelona to great success, scoring 364 goals and providing 173 assists, including a treble in their first season.

The trio split when Neymar moved to PSG in 2017. Messi and Suárez stayed at Barcelona until 2020 before going separate ways. In 2024, Messi and Suárez reunited at Inter Miami, while Neymar now plays for Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia.

After winning the Player Career Award at the Globe Soccer Awards, Neymar shared his thoughts on reuniting with Messi and Suárez:
“Playing with them again would be amazing. We’re still in touch. It would be exciting to bring back that trio. I’m happy at Al Hilal, but football is full of surprises.”

Neymar joined Al Hilal in 2023, seeking a fresh challenge. Despite injuries, including a torn ACL and meniscus in 2023 and a hamstring issue in 2024, Neymar is eager to make an impact. His contract runs until 2025, leaving room for a potential MSN reunion.

At 32, Neymar has his sights set on the 2026 FIFA World Cup, his “last shot” at winning the tournament. Brazil faces challenges in qualifying, but Neymar remains optimistic:
“I trust the team and the young players. We have time to work and reach the World Cup,” he said.

Neymar reflects proudly on his career, despite questions about whether he’s fully reached his potential:
“I’ve faced many challenges, but I’ve overcome them. I’ve achieved more than I ever imagined. You always think about what could’ve been different, but that’s football. I’m happy with what I’ve done.”
