On Friday, Zaka Ashraf submitted his resignation as chairman and member of the MC to Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar.
In his closing statements, Zaka Ashraf expressed gratitude to the honorable Patron PCB for the confidence and trust bestowed upon him. He extended his best wishes and prayers for the betterment of Pakistan and its cricket.

Shah Khawar, presently serving as Chief Election Commissioner, is set to assume the helm of the PCB. This decision is part of the transitional process aimed at maintaining orderly operations until a new governing body is appointed.
Shah Khawar’s key responsibilities will include the formation of a new Board of Governors (BOG) and overseeing the upcoming PCB elections.
