Authorities said the political veteran is currently being held in Lahore County Jail and is in good condition. However, Rasheed was transferred to the Punjab Heart Institute (PIC) for an EKG test over the weekend following approval from the Punjab government.
After the scan tests, the head of the PTI was sent back to prison the same day. Authorities said the former party leader was provided with all medical facilities in accordance with the law.

Meanwhile, amid the rumors, Imran Khan also shared a tweet saying that Mian Mehmood was suffering from severe chest pains in prison and was taken to hospital, but despite doctors’ advice to keep him under surveillance, he was forcibly taken to prison.
Khan further claimed that his close associate had been subjected to such torture and inhumane behavior solely because of his refusal to quit the PTI.
