The UAE Massively Cuts Petrol Prices Until June 2023
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Fuel Prices Committee has announced new prices for petrol and diesel from June 1, 2023. The prices of the Super 98, Special 95, E-Plus 91, and Diesel have been reduced by 11.55%.
As of tomorrow, Super 98 will cost AED2.95 per liter, up from AED3.16 in May. The Special 95 costs AED 2.84 per liter instead of AED 3.05. Likewise, the E-Plus 91 costs AED2.76 per liter instead of AED2.97, while the diesel costs AED2.68 per liter from AED3.03.

The price of diesel is currently at its lowest level for the year, reflecting the constant fluctuations in the global energy market.
In 2020, the Fuel Price Committee kept fuel prices stable during the pandemic. However, when global oil prices began to rise in March 2021, the committee lifted those controls and began adjusting fuel prices to reflect international market conditions.
