UAE Officially Issued The Ramadan Working Hours
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has officially communicated Ramadan working hours for all government departments and federal employees. The new opening hours will apply after the start of Ramadan on 23rd March in the United Arab Emirates.
The federal agency for state human resources (FAHR) has issued a notice that federal employees will work from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday. On Friday they will work from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Emirates Astronomical Society (EAS) President Ibrahim Al Jarwan said Ramadan will begin on 23rd March, Thursday. It lasts 29 days and Eid-ul-Fitr falls on the 21st Friday of April.
The Ramadan Crescent will not be visible in Pakistan, Bangladesh, and India. Consequently, on Friday, March 24th, these countries begin the holy month.
Dubai Released School Timings For Ramadan
The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has released new schedules and instructions for schools in Dubai during Ramadan.
Schools are allowed a maximum of five hours of classes during Ramadan, ending on Friday noon for Jumma prayers, according to the notice.
Fasting students can deregister from physical education (PE) on request. Homework and follow-up work will also be reduced so as not to overload students who are fasting during the holy month.
