NADRA Ijazat Aap Ki Service Online Apply 2023
According to recent reports, officials at Pakistan National Database and Registration Authority are boasting a new service today. This new NADRA service called “Ijazat Aap Ki” aims to give people control over their biometric data.
NADRA will use this service to at least partially decentralize citizen data. That way people can give their consent. For example, they can also refuse you before a transaction that requires your Pakistani ID Card. The Pakistani government calls this decision unprecedented.
There is no doubt that this makes personal information just as important and meaningful as any other valuable personal property.
According to officials, this move by NADRA means the creation of a “digital consent system.”
NADRA Ijazat Aap Ki Service Application Procedure
- If Pakistani citizen wants to use the service, they need to register their mobile phone number with their National Identity Card (CNIC);
- To do this, simply send your 13-digit CNIC ID Card Number (including dashes) to 8009.
- Within seconds you’ll get a “Thank you. Your mobile number has been successfully registered with NADRA.”

NADRA’s New Service “Ijazat Aap Ki’ Will Help in The Decentralization Of Citizen Data
It’s worth mentioning here that verification transactions now require a six-digit code to be sent to a mobile phone registered to a citizen. Possessing the code is actually an authentication. It is a person’s agreement with a third party to obtain verification of their CNIC ID Card Number.
However, let me tell you that people need to update their NADRA every time they change their phone numbers.
We have already informed you that the same agency is also sponsoring what is said to be the first digital census of Pakistan. Without a doubt, this is the most comprehensive and comprehensive collection of personal information most people will ever come across.
Reports claim that at least 121,000 would-be counters traversed the rugged country during the month-long survey period. Unfortunately, 86,000 police officers and thousands of military personnel are expected to travel with the census takers to prevent violence against officials.
