How To Become A UAE Diplomat?
The Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) in Abu Dhabi, a renowned center for training future diplomats, has officially opened its admissions for the 2023-2024 academic year.
This year, the Academy is inviting applications for all programs including the UAE Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Diplomacy and International Relations (IR), the Master of Arts (MA) in Global Affairs and Leadership Diplomacy, and a Master’s degree in Humanitarian Studies action and development.
AGDA expects many applications this year due to its reputation for offering excellent academic programs. It hopes to appeal to young Emiratis eager to make a difference by playing a significant role in UAE foreign policy.
What Are The Eligibility Criteria?
- At least a bachelor’s degree with at least 3 CGPAs.
- IELTS minimum score of 6.5.
- Male candidates must have completed their national service (military service).
- In-country sons of Emirati mothers can apply for PGD if they are 35 or younger and wish to serve abroad.
