Free Food For Visit Visa Holders At This UAE Restaurant
Thousands of people move to the UAE every week and many of them are initially unlucky to find work and worried about their meals.
The solution to this problem is provided by a restaurateur who is now offering visa holders and job seekers in the emirate a free visit meal.
The restaurant, called Karachi Star, is located in Sharjah and has been offering free meals to the poor for eight years, but now the service has been extended to include visa holders.
Shahid Asghar Bangash, the owner of the restaurant, advises that people who are unemployed, on visiting visas, or whose visas have expired can come to the restaurants in Muweilah and Saja, Sharjah, and get a free meal.
“We offer this service to people who need it, regardless of their country of origin. We mainly accept people from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and Africa who are losing their jobs and have no money. They can come to us and just tell us they have a visit visa and no money,” said Shahid Asghar Bangash, as reported by the Khaleej Times.
“We have no terms and conditions for these people. You can order anything that is available that day. We’ve also set a keyword for these people among the restaurant staff, so we’re asking the staff restaurants to place an order for them.”
“So it doesn’t hurt their self-esteem and no one else in the restaurant knows about them,” he said.
It’s worth noting that those who visit the restaurant can take advantage of free food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The United Arab Emirates is home to millions of foreign workers and each year the country welcomes visitors who land in the emirate in search of better work and life opportunities, and the Karachi Star restaurant service can help strugglers “not getting work” and get ready to eat.
