Patrick Stone, Sharon Stone’s younger brother, has reportedly died at the age of 57.

According to TMZ, the Basic Instinct star’s 64-year-old brother has died of a heart attack.

Patrick’s death was ruled “sudden cardiac death due to a heart condition,” according to a coroner’s spokesman.

It is not yet known whether he was found dead or taken to the hospital immediately.

His wife Tasha took to social media to share the heartbreaking news, writing, “I feel like my heart has been ripped out of my chest.”

“Patrick left with our sweet River… I don’t know what I did nor should I say that he was my world.”

She continued, “I don’t know what life is going to be like without my husband by my side and I honestly don’t want to, but of course, I will. I just hope you’re always there to take care of me.” Hunter, Kaylee, and I.”

“Until we meet again I will always carry you and our wonderful (and some not-so-wonderful but equally important) memories in my heart and always revisit those memories. I love you, darling.”

He went on to mention his son River, who tragically died of organ failure two years ago at the age of 11 months.

“My wish through all of this is that River at least has his dad with him now and I hope you two have a great time.”

It was then that Sharon broke the news that her nephew’s organs had failed.

She posted a photo of the baby to Instagram with the caption, “River William Stone – September 8, 2020 – August 30, 2021,” after previously asking her followers for prayers for a miracle.

Stone’s younger brother Patrick and his wife Tasha have three children and live in Ohio. The river is his youngest son.

After the death of his nephew, the Basic Instinct star revealed his organ donation helped save three lives.

Kelly Stone, Sharon’s sister, and Michael Stone, her brother, are actors who have starred in films such as The Quick and the Dead (1995), Eraser (1996), and Renaissance Man (2021).
