Nathaniel Radimak is the whistle-wielding Tesla driver arrested in Los Angeles for street rage attacks on cars, the California Highway Patrol said in a Jan. 30, 2023 news release.
Radimak has ties to several states and has an extensive criminal record dating back to 2007, according to court records and documents. His ex-girlfriend got a restraining order against him in 2022, accusing him of domestic violence, stalking, and threatening to kill her, her current boyfriend. His family, including his parents, shows court documents.

LA Tesla Road Rage
According to Fox Los Angeles, the suspect, now identified as Radimak, was seen on video on a Glendale freeway attempting to pull into the left lane and hit a Chevrolet pickup whose driver was recording the incident.
The suspect, who drove a Tesla and wore a black bandana as a face mask, hit the brakes in the middle of the freeway, got out of his car, and repeatedly struck the window and door of the Chevrolet, both the pylon and the pipeline, with a metal object, described the news channel.
The victim told KTLA, “At first you think, ‘Should I nail it to the wall with my car?’, ‘Should I knock it over?’, ‘What should I do?’ and I tried to stay focused and think, “I don’t want to go from victim to perpetrator in the blink of an eye.”
The victim, who asked the news channel to remain anonymous, added: “Maybe it’s a pattern, maybe he was having a bad day, I don’t know. Who could tell what was on his mind? I think I should do it.”
“It’s going to be important for all of us to get this guy off the streets.”
“We can’t let people walk around and hit people’s cars. It’s not the society I live in would like.”
The suspect has been dubbed a “Tesla terrorist” on social media, and other possible victims are coming forward. A woman told KABC that an attacker matching Radimak’s description punched her in the face, leaving her with a black eye in October 2021.”
Suspect Arrested
“On Sunday, 29th January 2023, Mr. Nathaniel Walter Radimak was arrested by the California Highway Patrol Southern Division Major Crimes Unit in connection with assaults he allegedly committed on 11th January 2023, while driving a Tesla Model X in the state drove the route 2 near York Blvd in the city of Los Angeles,” the California Highway Patrol said in the release.
“The attacks were captured on dashcam video and the public provided our department with various leads that led to the arrest, police added “the investigation is ongoing and Radimak could face additional charges. Police are looking for a Tesla driver in similar incidents in the Los Angeles area. Los Angeles office at 213-744-2331,” the Interstate Patrol Police said in the release.
