Visa Renewal Service To Visit UAE To Dubai Same Day Was A Success
Thousands of visitors to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are taking advantage of the same-day visa extension service currently offered by several travel agencies in the Emirates.
Regarding the same-day refurbishment facility, Raheesh Babu, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Musafir.com, said that about 600 to 800 people use the air-to-air refurbishment facility in Dubai every day.
He pointed out that Flydubai and Salaam Air are currently offering the service at Dubai International Airport Terminal 2, where visitors can opt for a same-day visa extension or spend a day in a neighboring country and then return to the UAE . to change their visa status.
Raheesh further pointed out that visa renewal for a same-day visit is a four-hour process and visitors have to wait at a neighboring country’s airport for the visa to be renewed. He added that they can then return to the UAE after a full four hours and an extension of their visa.
The rule requiring visitors to leave the UAE after their visa expires came into effect in December 2022. Previously, they were allowed to extend their residency permits while in the country.
However, prior to the coronavirus restrictions, visit visa holders were required to leave the UAE when the visa expired, but the UAE temporarily changed the policy for humanitarian reasons and has now returned to the same old policy following a global relaxation of travel restrictions.
