Catherine Gurd has been identified as the Ohio college athlete who went viral on TikTok and was nicknamed the “Peach Bowl Girl” among fans.
According to The New York Post, Gurd went viral on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022, when she was caught on TikTok video during a broadcast of the college playoff semifinals between the Georgia and Ohio state soccer teams.
“Somebody find this girl from Ohio state…for God’s sake,” Hayden read Sheppard’s TikTok video, which includes news clips from the TV show. Gurd only appears a few seconds in the clip on TikTok:

According to US magazine, Anderson was “discovered at age 22 in 1989 after performing on a jumbotron at a BC Lions football game wearing a Labatt’s Beer jersey” and hired as the brand’s spokesperson.
In another TikTok video, Gurd said, “What’s up?” She captioned this video, “POV your 3 seconds on TV is making you viral.”
