Edineuza Carvalho Rodrigues And Her 7-Year-Old Daughter Lívia Thauane Were Murdered
The bodies of a mother and daughter were discovered brutally murdered in bed.
On 28th December Edineuza Carvalho Rodrigues, 24, and the remains of her seven-year-old daughter, Lvia Thauane, were discovered in Casa Nova, Bahia, Brazil.
After local police responded to reports of concern for the young mother and her daughter, the two were found decapitated in bed.
The residents of the small community in northeastern Brazil were surprised by his death.
Just four days after the murder, reports in Brazil identified the young mother’s ex-boyfriend, who is also the child’s father, as the prime suspect in the investigation.
The victim and the prime suspect reportedly broke up a year ago but have gotten back together “a few times,” according to a report by news site GMC Online.
Reports from Brazil have also speculated that the murder may have been motivated by the 24-year-old victim’s extramarital affair, which may have prompted the suspect.
But the possible causes of the killings have not yet been revealed by the Brazilian authorities.
