Bryan Kohberger is the suspect and criminology graduate student charged in the stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students who were killed on 13th November 2022 in Moscow, Idaho.
According to court records, Kohberger was arrested on Dec. 30 in Monroe County, Pennsylvania. His name was first confirmed by WPVI, a Philadelphia-based news channel.

According to the WPVI, authorities including the FBI, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Moscow Police Department “tracked down” Kohberger and located him in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, in the Pocono Mountains area of Pennsylvania. An arrest warrant accuses Kohberger of first-degree murder, the broadcaster reported.
Kohberger faces extradition to Idaho for murder, news channel WPVI reports. A native of Albrightsville, Pennsylvania, Kohberger is a graduate student at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, near Moscow.
According to the WSU website, Kohberger is doing his doctorate in criminal law and criminology. In college, she was a research student studying people’s actions, thoughts, and feelings when they commit crimes.
