Petrol Prices in Pakistan Have Been Cut By Rs10 Since December 15

Senator Ishaq Dar, Minister of Finance and Revenue, announced on Thursday that the price of petrol will be cut by Rs. 10 to Rs. 214.80 per liter for the next two weeks from 16th December.

In a video address, the finance minister said the price cut is in line with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s aspirations to offer “maximum relief” to the masses.

Petrol is now offered at Rs 214.80 after a reduction of Rs 7.5 due to updated petroleum product prices. Also, the cost of light diesel and kerosene has been reduced to Rs 169 and Rs 171.83 respectively.
