Petrol Prices in Pakistan Have Been Cut By Rs10 Since December 15
Senator Ishaq Dar, Minister of Finance and Revenue, announced on Thursday that the price of petrol will be cut by Rs. 10 to Rs. 214.80 per liter for the next two weeks from 16th December.
In a video address, the finance minister said the price cut is in line with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s aspirations to offer “maximum relief” to the masses.
Petrol is now offered at Rs 214.80 after a reduction of Rs 7.5 due to updated petroleum product prices. Also, the cost of light diesel and kerosene has been reduced to Rs 169 and Rs 171.83 respectively.
Petroleum Products Prices:
Dec16 to Dec31, 2022:High Speed Diesel-with Rs 7.50 reduction,Rs 227.80 per litre
MS Petrol —with Rs 10 reduction,Rs 214.80 per litre
Kerosene Oil – with Rs 10 reduction,Rs 171.83 per litre
Light Diesel Oil – with Rs 10 reduction, Rs 169 per litre

It should be noted that on November 30 the government, while leaving the prices of petrol and diesel unchanged, cut the price of kerosene and light diesel by Rs 10 per liter and Rs 7.5 per liter respectively.
