This year cricket remained the top search Google trend with T20 World Cup, Asian Cup 2022, and PSL 7 occupying the top three spots in the overall top search list. Nationwide financial insecurity, flooding, and inflation have prompted people to take advantage of government campaigns and financial aid programs such as the Ehsaas program. Meanwhile, celebrities like Queen Elizabeth, Aamir Liaquat, and Arshad Shareef have also taken their place on the list.
