Toyota Hikes Car Prices in Pakistan From 17th November
Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) has announced a massive price increase for its cars, notably the Toyota Corolla and Hilux Revo, in Pakistan due to the current economic uncertainties and raw material cost inflation which has increased the production costs of suppliers.
“As you know, due to economic uncertainties and raw material cost inflation, the supplier’s production costs have increased significantly. In addition, uncertainties related to currency fluctuations [USD to PKR], increased utility costs, and overhead costs also impacted IMC’s manufacturing costs. the company specified in the circular.”
“As such, this situation has made it extremely difficult for IMC to maintain current retail prices and as a result, we are forced to inflict some shock to the market,” added the company. However, Toyota IMC mentioned that it is only increasing the price of certain variants “for now”.

Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) has increased the price of the Toyota Corolla 1.6 CVT, Hilux Single Cabin, and Hilux Revo, while the prices of the rest of the models remain unchanged as their reservation is still closed due to the company’s inability to make the to meet discovered demand, a problem created by the restrictions on importing Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits.

Terms and Conditions
The new price applies to all new bookings of the above variants from 17th November 2022:
- All IMV orders are already in the IMC system by November 16, 2022, and all payments received by November 25, 2022, will be settled at the current MSRP.
- All pending IMV orders are placed pursuant to the pricing circulars dated [22. March, April 29, and August 15] will be billed at their respective approved rates.
- The prices for the new Corolla 1.6 CVT and CVT SE apply to all orders from November 16, 2022, with the exception of the joint order list with an announcement on October 27, 2022.
- All Corolla orders in process on November 16th, for which full payment has been made no later than July 15th, 2022, according to the terms and dates specified in the price circular of March 22nd, April 29th, and August 15th, 2022 to pay the differential fixed price of Rs 300,000 including 1% capital value tax by 25th November 2022.
The prices do not include costs for transport, transport insurance, etc.
