Who is Marina Gentilesco? Biography, Wiki
Florida High School staffer Marina Gentilesco complained about a colleague’s parking lot that has a Bible verse written on it.
Ms. Gentilesco, a Jew and teaching assistant at Wiregrass Ranch High School in Pasco County, Fla., says the verse makes her angry every time she sees it.
The New Testament passage, Philippians 4:13, painted in its place, seems innocuous enough and contains the inspirational phrase: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Bible Verse About Parking A Colleague
Gentilesco notes that he feels the phrase is more appropriate for the grounds of a church than for a school.
“They put it on a publicly funded lot. I don’t agree with that,” he said.
Gentilesco went to the principal, who then checked with the school district.
Since then, schools in Pasco County have said they will not remove the Bible verse.
“It’s not a criminal offense. It’s a personal expression,” said Stephen Hegarty, public information officer for Pasco County Schools.
“There is no proselytizing. It doesn’t force students to do anything one way or the other,” added Hegarty.
He also noted that it had no connection to anything taught at school.
“It has nothing to do with education. He’s just a teacher who talks like he has a crucifix on his shirt. Teachers and students are free to express themselves,” he said.
Statement By Marina Gentilesco
“I feel like it attacks me as a Jew,” Gentilesco told Fox 59.
“It makes me cry because it reminds me of the six million who died because of our faith because we are Jews.”
