Tyler Wilkins was charged with murder after authorities discovered his newborn baby and the baby’s mother died in a South Carolina home, sheriff’s officers said Thursday.
According to a Fox News report, suspected killer Tyler Wilkins was arrested in connection with the grisly case and was romantically involved with another woman who disappeared in 2020.

The 21-year-old is accused of locking 22-year-old Clarissa Michelle Winchester at a relative’s home and beating her so badly that she suffered blunt force trauma to the head and neck, the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said, according to Carolina Fox.
According to the news channel, she did not receive any help for her baby even after the birth.
According to Fox News Digital, the missing daughter’s stepmother, Jorden Nebling, who has not been seen since October 2020, said she believes Wilkins was involved in the case.
Mary Tucker said Wilkins and Nebling had a romantic history and that it was Wilkins who picked up her stepdaughter after her car broke down before she disappeared, Fox News reported.
“In my heart, I believe he did something to her. He had a history of violence … And police searched his property,” Tucker previously told the outlet.
“I know they dug up a concrete slab in the driveway that he had recently settled in. just before her disappearance.”
“And I know the police have been very focused on speaking to him. But unfortunately, travelers, it’s a very, very remote area,” Tucker said of the small town of Travelers Rest, South Carolina.
Charged
Greenville County authorities charged 22-year-old Tyler Wilkins Thursday with murder, child molestation, child neglect, and kidnapping in connection with the recent crime.
Wilkins has multiple charges pending, including a charge of attempted murder in 2021. According to county records, he posted bail of more than $4,000 and was released in January.
No charges were brought in the Nebling case.
Wilkins had previously been arrested on a range of charges, including attempted murder, domestic violence aggravated and aggravated, possession of a weapon in a violent crime, threatening to kill an officer, possession of drugs, and draining of bodily fluids, Fox reports Carolina, citing a background check from the state Department of Law Enforcement.
According to court documents, he was released on bail in January with a gun limit.
