Video of Alvin Kamara Attacking A Man in Las Vegas
Due to an event during Pro Bowl weekend in Las Vegas, Saints running back Alvin Kamara could face criminal prosecution, civil liability, and a suspension from the league. TMZ.com has received a new video purporting to show Kamara attacking the victim.
A person who lands on the ground is repeatedly punched by a man identified by TMZ.com as Kamara. Others join the attack, trampling and kicking the victim.
According to sources, the alleged victim turned violent before the attack, which was caught on camera, according to TMZ.com.
Darnell Greene has filed a lawsuit against Kamara over alleged injuries he sustained last month. Kamara is also charged with assault. The hearing date is Wednesday, November 9th.
Kamara continues to face a six-game basic ban under the Personal Conduct Policy. The league will likely wait until the criminal case is resolved before acting.
The NFL did not grant Kamara any paid time off. There’s no reason to think the league will change position. The Saints host the Ravens on Monday night.
