Bryson DeChambeau’s father, Jon DeChambeau, died on Friday. Bryson said goodbye to his father in a post on his Instagram account early Saturday morning:

“I’m sad you’re going but you’ve been through too much pain in this life. I’m so glad you’re at peace. Now you can be with me and see me at every event I play.”

Bryson’s agent confirms news of Jon’s death. Throughout his life, Jon has struggled with various health issues.

Jon DeChambeau’s Cause Of Death

Jon DeChambeau suffered from diabetes and kidney failure. Due to a prolonged battle with diabetes, both kidneys failed in 2014. He needed a transplant in 2017 at the age of 57.

Bryson wrapped up his first season with the LIV Golf Series last week in Miami. His team, the Crushers, was eliminated in the semifinals. The cause of Jon DeChambeau’s death is diabetes. However, Jon DeChambeau’s cause of death has not been officially announced by his family.
