David Bonola, a handyman living illegally in the country, has admitted killing his ex-lover, the Queen’s mother’s wife Orsolya Gaal, the whose butchered body was stuffed into a discarded hockey bag near his home on Wednesday.

Bonola has agreed to serve 25 years behind bars while she is convicted of first-degree manslaughter in the brutal murder of Gaal, who was stabbed more than 50 times at her Forest Hills home on 16th April.

Bonola had worked as an air conditioning repairman for the family as he was having an affair with the mother of two. Gaal, 51, had been in Manhattan with friends and then stopped at a local bar before heading home around 12:30 p.m. m. on the day of her murder, prosecutors said.

The pair argued before Bonola cut Gaal’s throat, stabbing her hard and dismembering her. Cruel surveillance footage showed the killer rolling Gaal’s body into his son’s hockey bag.

Police officers recovered the body near the Union Turnpike the next morning and followed the trail of blood to the scene, prosecutors said.

“The heinous murder has devastated an entire family, left two children orphans, and appalled the surrounding community,” Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said in a statement, thanking prosecutors for brokering the plea deal.

Pleaded Guilty

Bonola, who claimed to have killed his former lover because he believed she had passed HIV to him during their two-year relationship, withdrew an earlier plea of ​​not guilty in the Queens Criminal Court.

“By pleading guilty, you hereby declare in this court that on or about April 16, 2022, here in Queens County Orsolya Gaal you caused grievous bodily harm and caused the death of Ms. Gall by stabbing her,” he said to the court. Judge Michael. asked B. Aloise. “You did that?”

“Yes sir,” Bonola, a Mexican, replied through a Spanish interpreter.

“Do you understand that everything ends here?” said the judge.

“Thank you,” Bonola said.

“With his guilty plea, the defendant has accepted responsibility and bears full responsibility for his criminal actions,” Katz said.

“We offer our deepest condolences to the family of the victim and hope today’s call will allow them to begin healing.”

Queens Defenders defense attorney David Strachan declined to comment for The Post.

Sentencing is set for 16th November and the victim’s family is expected to appear in court at that time.
