Rapper Takeoff, a member of the popular band Migos, was fatally shot Tuesday at a private party at a bowling alley in downtown Houston, a representative for the band confirmed.
The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission says it has launched an investigation into the store where the rapper was allegedly killed.

What Were The Details Of An Incident?
Houston Police Department officers and Houston Fire Department emergency responders responded to reports of a shooting at 810 Billiards & Bowling, at 1201 San Jacinto, around 2:40 a.m.
Officers said when they arrived at the scene they found a large crowd and a man with gunshot wounds to the head or neck. The man, who was not immediately identified by officers, was pronounced dead at the scene, HPD said.
According to HPD Lt. Salazar, between 40 and 50 people were at the scene when the shooting took place. The party reportedly ended at 1 a.m. but continued until the incident happened.
Investigators said they found several shell casings on the third level outside of the bowling alley and billiard room.

At a news conference, police confirmed that gang members Quavo and Takeoff were present at the time of the shooting. Police said security personnel at the scene heard the shots but did not appear to see who fired them.
Two other victims were taken to nearby hospitals in private vehicles under unknown conditions, HPD said.
Officials initially said they would not release the victim’s identity until her family was notified and her identification was confirmed by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Police have confirmed a victim is a black man in his 20s. A representative of the group confirmed that the victim was Takeoff, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball.
Investigators said they viewed surveillance video nearby and were working to determine what led to the shooting.
Statement From The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission
A spokesman for the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission told KPRC 2 that if an investigation finds that “company policies, procedures or practices contributed to the fatal shootings,” possible penalties could include a civil fine or temporary licensing of the company.
“Depending on the seriousness of any potential violation, a liquor revocation could be considered, which would mean they would no longer be able to sell alcohol (although this would not necessarily mean they would close their doors permanently),” the spokesman said in a report
“As for timing, there is no specific answer, it will depend on how quickly TABC officers and local police can collect evidence and interview witnesses.”
