Arshad Sharif’s Brother, Elder Ashraf, Was Martyred By Terrorists
Muhammad Sharif, Arshad Sharif’s father, served as the commander of the Pakistan Navy. He received the Medal of Distinction in recognition of his courage and service.
In 2011, a heart attack claimed his life. Major Ashraf Sharif, Arshad’s brother, was stationed in Bannu. He left Bannu Kent after learning of his father’s death and drowned. The TTP was banned and attacked his car. Major Ashraf Sharif was killed in this incident. He is only 35 years old.
While preparations were being made for Arshad Sharif’s father’s funeral, news of his brother’s martyrdom also arrived; As a result, two funerals took place in the same house.
