Redmi Launches Affordable iPad Competitor in Pakistan
The first Redmi tablet arrived in Pakistan just a few days after landing on the world market.
The Slate is available now on the Mi Store for Rs 57,499 in a single storage option with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. This is the base variant for the tablet and other markets have higher storage options as well.
As a reminder, the Redmi Pad is a mid-range tablet powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 SoC, which is roughly on par with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 732G in terms of performance.
The tablet features a 10.61-inch IPS LCD display with 2K resolution (1200 x 2000 pixels) and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. It can reach a maximum brightness of 400 nits and supports 1 billion colors.
As software, you get MIUI 13 in addition to Android 12.
The main camera design is similar to Xiaomi’s recently launched 12T phones, and the available colors are Moonlight Silver and Graphite Gray. International markets are also painted mint green.

There are only two cameras on the tablet, one on the front and one on the back. Both are 8MP shooters capable of recording 1080p videos at up to 30 FPS. There is an 8000 mAh battery on board, which according to Xiaomi can last a whole day. Support 18W fast charge.
