Pakistan Medical Commission Amended The PMC Act 2022
We have good news for medical students eagerly awaiting the MDCAT 2022 decision. According to the latest notice from the PMC, this is to inform everyone that the PMC officials have decided to amend the PMC law in 2020 and conduct the provincial-level initial medical examination.
First, they decided to cancel the PMC MDCAT 2022 entry test. In addition, the commission said applicants with 60% intermediate grades would be eligible to apply to medical and dental schools.
Students with 55% grades can apply for admission to the MBBS and with 45% grades to the BDS course. Previously, the MBBS requirement was 65% for MBBS and 60% for BDS. Now the PMC will hold a successful meeting on this topic, which will decide on the implementation of the MDCAT 2022.
The Pakistan Medical Commission announced this notification on Twitter. Now Pakistan Medical Commission will launch MDCAT 2022 registration portal which will be reopened from September 10th to 25th to help all students who are unable to register.
