Apple iPhone Hardware Subscriptions Could Arrive Later in 2022
It looks like Apple’s iPhone hardware subscription bundle is still on the way. The hardware subscription allows customers to purchase iPhones and other Apple items for a monthly fee. Rumors about it have been circulating for a long time, but have not yet come true.
While Apple had the opportunity to launch such a service during its iPhone 14 event, the latest reports claim that Apple will launch this service in the coming weeks.
iPhone Hardware Subscriptions Could Arrive Later in 2022
According to reports, Apple will launch this service later this year or next. As mentioned above, the planned subscription was not announced or mentioned during the iPhone event. The reason for this may be to reduce complexity on launch day. Since this will be a completely new way to buy an iPhone, Apple will organize an event for this purpose.
It’s worth noting here that Apple already offers its customers several direct ways to get the latest flagship products, including the iPhone Upgrade Program and payment programs like Apple Card.
The subscription would be different, however, as customers would not only pay part of the cost of the hardware, but also a range of services on top of that.
Rumors of an all-in-one subscription are actually a few years old, and analysts say it’s a certainty for Apple. There’s no doubt that subscribing to iPhone hardware could be beneficial for investors, as it would change the narrative from one-off seasonal transactions to recurring sales.
