How To Fund Pakistan Flood Victims Through SMS Code 9999?
The Government of Pakistan has announced the creation of a flood relief fund, the Prime Minister’s Flood Relief Fund 2022, to help and rehabilitate people affected by torrential rains and flash floods in many parts of the country. The fund accepts donations/contributions from national and international sources.
All commercial and microfinance banks are required to open the fund account and can accept donations/contributions in cash, cheques, money orders, and drafts at any of their branches across the country.
The PTA has also introduced the convenience of donating virtually.
Steps For How To Fund Pakistan Flood Victims Through SMS Code 9999?
- First type ‘Funds’ in your mobile SMS box.
- Then send it to code 9999.
- All the users can contribute a minimum of Rs 10/- in donations to the PM Flood Relief Fund.
