Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) returns this fall with a new season star Alfonso Ribeiro. Tyra Banks will return to animation, but this time she won’t be alone. Former DWTS Champion Alfonso Ribeiro will co-host Season 31 with Banks. They have known each other for decades through their work on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Another key difference is that the new season will premiere on Disney+ instead of ABC.
In a press release, Ribeiro commented on his return to the reality TV scene:
“Dancing With the Stars has been such an integral part of my life for so many years and I’m thrilled to officially join this close-knit family as co-host.” Tyra and I have a long history of friendship that I hope will extend to all fans back home when we launch this new season on Disney+.
