NEPRA increases electricity tariff by Rs 9.42 per unit for K-Electric
The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved an electricity price increase of Rs 9.42 per unit for K-Electric consumers.
The electricity tariff increased after the monthly adjustment of fuel prices in May.
K-Electric will be able to raise an additional Rs.380 billion after the latest raise.
The regulator said it was ready to help K-electric provide cheap electricity, adding that it could also talk to the federal and provincial governments about it.
