PM Calls For Early Completion Of CPEC Projects On Schedule
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called for the timely completion of all China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects.
Speaking at a meeting at the Rashakai Special Economic Zone in Rashakai on Wednesday, he said the government is committed to developing industry to make Pakistan an economically advanced country.
Shehbaz Sharif said that a total of nine special economic zones were established in 2016-2017 by the Joint Commission Committee. He added that Pakistan benefits from modern Chinese technology.
He said Pakistan’s affordable and skilled labor force and advanced Chinese technology will help boost economic development at a vigorous pace. The prime minister suggested holding road shows and other activities in China to encourage Chinese investment, which could lead to a win-win situation.

He claimed to have solved all the problems faced by Chinese companies operating in the special economic zones.
Shehbaz Sharif ordered to achieve the goals in the SEZ within the allotted time. The prime minister also insisted on making special economic zones a model.
