State Bank Timings For Friday 6 May 2022
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced Friday, May 6 for all banks, development finance institutions (DFIs), and microfinance banks.
According to a statement in this regard, the opening hours for both public transport and office hours have been revised.
SBP will adhere to office hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday (morning) with a prayer/lunch break from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
He mentioned that these office hours must also be adhered to in spirit and in letter by all banks/EFIs/MFBs.
“In addition, banks and MFBs may prescribe (bank) opening hours for public transactions on the preceding May 6 according to their business needs,” the statement said.

The Central Bank has indicated that the public service (banking) hours observed by the SBP Banking Services Corporation (SBP-BSC) field offices will be from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (uninterrupted).
“It should be noted that regular office hours instructions will be given later,” the central bank said.
