Prince William, Kate Middleton’s ‘secret marriage pact’ exposed despite backlash
Royal experts are breaking down the details of the alleged marriage pact Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly made in secret ahead of their nuptials.
This claim was made by royal expert and commentator Katie Nicholl in her 2011 book The Making of a Royal Romance.
There he first talked about the beginnings of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s courtship and how the duo’s second biggest breakup came about.
Shortly after, the couple struck a pact that included marriage vows, despite the public’s contempt for Kate Middleton, naming him “Waity Katy.”

Speaking about the label in her book, Ms Nicholl wrote: “Kate was dubbed ‘Wayy Katy’ by the British press, who absolutely hated her.”
“But I think what neither of us knew was that [she] and William had actually made a secret deal to get married in 2007 after getting together after their second major breakup.”
“It was a secret pact and we know they are a couple who are very good at keeping secrets. So Kate really did have the last laugh because she has her prince.”
