NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi Admissions comes once in a year. It is one of the Oldest and Reputed institutions in Pakistan with Four Campuses in Karachi which includes a new Islamkot Thar campus (TIEST) that was established in August 2019.

This institute was founded in 1921 to offer only a Bachelor’s in Civil and Mechanical Engineering. Currently, this institute is offering various degree BE as well as BS degree Programs including Textile Sciences, Industrial Chemistry, Development Studies, Applied Physics, Computational Finance, and Others.

NED University Admission Criteria 2024

The NED University, Karachi Admissions 2024 has the following admissions criteria:

• Online Registration for Admissions 2024-2025 will start on July 1st, 2024.
• Last Date to Apply: 22nd August 2024
• Entry Test Date: 31st August 2024

To Apply for:

BE, BS (CS & IT), and B.Arch Programs:

• At least 60% or above in Aggregate in HSSC / A-Levels / AKUEB

BS Programs:

• At least 55% or above in Aggregate in HSSC / A-Levels

*NOTE: Sindh Domicile is Mandatory. You can also Apply on Migration Basis e.g. UET, Lahore.

NED University Entry Test Pattern

NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi Entry test consists of the following subjects:

• Mathematics / Biology: 25 Marks
• Physics: 25 Marks
• Chemistry / Computer Science: 25 Marks
• English: 25 Marks

*NOTE: There is NO NEGATIVE MARKING in the entry test and the Duration of the Test will be TWO hours.

NED University Documents Checklist

All the Candidates are required to prepare the following documents as early as possible. In other words, The mentioned below documents are the requirements of the Admission Procedure:

• Photograph Passport Size (2in x 3in – within 1 MB storage space) with sky blue background
• A Candidate should have a CNIC from NADRA if his/her age is 18 years or more or a B-form from NADRA if his/her age is less than 18 years
• Domicile from the relevant authority
• SSC Certificate from respective Board of Secondary Education
• All International Candidates are required to submit their O and A-level equivalent certificates from IBCC.
