Kate Middleton has been accused by royal fans of trying to ‘copy’ Meghan Markle after the Duchess of Cambridge announced she would be reading a story on children’s television.
Prince William’s wife recently announced that she will be the latest celebrity to star in CBeebie’s Bedtime Story.
Some fans slammed Kate for allegedly ‘copying’ Harry’s wife, with one user writing: “Meghan reads to the kids so copy Kate and do the same. Sigh please, can the palace take her aside and stop poor Kate from embarrassing the royals? family like that.”
Another said rudely: “Meghan’s impersonator. But no talent.”
Another royal fan said Kate “took advice from Meghan” who she says is “more successful on the PR front”.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have struck numerous deals with global media companies, including Spotify and Netflix, since quitting work in real life.

Kate Middleton is reportedly reading The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark by Jill Tomlinson, one of her favorite children’s books.
The Duchess said she chose the book because it echoes the theme of this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week, ‘Growing Up Together’, which runs through Sunday 13 February.
The Duchess of Cambridge will follow other high-profile celebrities who have appeared on the show including Tom Hardy, Reese Witherspoon, Ed Sheeran, and even Dolly Parton.
