Good news, Facebook and Instagram will be closing soon! Mark Zuckerberg made that decision, do you know why?
Facebook Shutdown
Great news for Facebook and Instagram users. If you also use Facebook and Instagram, the company has made a big decision that has brought the closure of these two social media platforms to the fore. We tell you that recently it was decided to change the name of Facebook.
A name change in October
Facebook was rebranded to META in October. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of META, changed the name and said that now Facebook will be known as Meta, but even today everyone still uses the name Facebook for this social media platform.
Services are impacted due to a lack of data sharing
META said it isn’t allowed to share European user data with other countries, so they may have to shut down their services. If this is not allowed, Facebook services, e.g. B. Meta, impaired. We inform you that the company will show advertisements to users based on this data.

Services in Europe may have to be discontinued
At the same time, the company said it must accept any new terms introduced in 2022. META said the company will have to stop its services in Europe if they don’t get permission to transfer data.
I can’t use Facebook and Instagram
Let us tell you that Europeans cannot use the Facebook and Instagram platforms. If authorization to transfer data is not obtained, the company must take this step.
Store data on US servers
The company has spoken to the Securities and Exchange Commission, under which the new framework will be implemented. When the new framework is implemented, you must pass this phase. According to European Union law, all user data must remain in Europe. At the same time, Meta demanded to share user data. The company says European user data should be stored on US servers.
The law ended in 2020
Let us tell you that European user data used to be shared on US servers but stopped in 2020. This law was struck down by the European Court, so Meta used Standard Contractual Clauses to take data from European Users on the US server. This is also currently being examined.
