Shah Rukh Khan breaks the internet with his moving tribute to the late Lata Mangeshkar
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has paid a moving tribute to legendary Indian singer Lata Mangeshkar, who breathed her last on Sunday morning.
The veteran’s death left millions of his fans in shock. Amidst all this, various personalities from all walks of life attended Mangeshkar’s funeral at Shivaji Park in Mumbai.
Among them, the Devdas actor caught everyone’s attention when he was spotted with his manager Pooja Dadlani saying goodbye to the late singer.
The footage shows Khan offering a dua with a floral tribute and respectfully touching his feet. Since then, the Raees actor has been trending on social media and fans are very touched by his gesture.
One fan wrote: “Ek hi dil hai kitni baar jitonge khan sahab (I only have one heart. How many times will you win it)?”
Another fan commented, “Shah Rukh is a true gentleman, he always pays tribute instead of posting on social media… he’s a great human being.”
Singer Tere Bina Zindagi’s funeral was attended by politicians and celebrities including Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor. Their rites were performed with full state honors in the presence of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Maharashtra Prime Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Deputy Prime Minister Ajit Pawar, and NCP leader Sharad Pawar.
