Omicron Variant Coronavirus Symptoms Have Been Ranked From Most Common To Least Common

Omicron variant coronavirus symptoms: According to the World Health Organization, Pakistan is battling a fifth wave of the coronavirus outbreak, with the positivity rate in Karachi, Pakistan’s most populous city, topping 40% on 19th January.

All about the symptoms of the Omicron variant of COVID

The alarming rise in COVID-19 cases has spooked everyone. To make matters worse, the Omicron variant is spreading rapidly around the world, causing health experts to remain calm.

As per the experts, the new strain differs from all previous strains of SARs-COV-2 in that it is milder and more treatable. So far, Omicron is thought to affect the upper respiratory tract, cause mild cold-like symptoms, and appear to cause less damage to the lungs, which is certainly a relief.

How are Omicron’s symptoms different from those of the Delta variant?

Delta variations have been associated with serious illness, hospitalization, and death. During the second wave of COVID-19, many people experienced extremely distressing symptoms, ranging from mild symptoms such as cough, fever, and loss of smell and taste, to severe symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest discomfort, and serious lung infections. Some even died from the disease.

The omicron variant, on the other hand, affects the lungs less frequently and is often mild. Experts have even said that the new variant of COVID could resemble a regular cold or flu. However, much remains to be known and further research is needed.
