Australian Diplomat Announced That His Country Will Celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Anniversary
Australia will join Britain and our Commonwealth family to commemorate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum anniversary, the Australian High Commissioner for Great Britain said.
A statement published on Sunday reads: “We will honor 70 years of immeasurable and dedicated service to His Majesty with a series of events and celebrations.”
In 2022, Queen Elizabeth II becomes the first Australian monarch to celebrate a platinum anniversary after 70 years of service.

There will be many events and activities to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Anniversary in Australia and the Commonwealth.
- February 6, 70th anniversary of the Queen’s accession to the throne
- March 14th Commonwealth Day
- June 2 Queen’s Coronation Day (1953)
- June 2-5, Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
- June 13th Queen’s Birthday Party (NSW; VIC; SA; TAS; ACT & NT)
- September 26th birthday celebration of the Queen (WA)
- October 3rd Queen’s Birthday Celebration (QLD)
