Google Maps Now Helps You Avoid Crowds More Easily
Google Maps introduced crowd tracking earlier this year that lets you see how busy a place is. Now the search engine giant is adding more to this feature ahead of the US holidays.
The new updated crowd tracking feature is designed to make it easier to navigate in high-traffic areas such as airports and shopping malls.
The new navigation system is rolling out around the world, but Americans are getting additional features like price ranges for different restaurants and faster trips to grocery stores based on individual occupancy.
The updated crowd tracker also works for popular points of interest, such as museums or city squares. Since many popular websites are already included in the app, you can zoom in on locations to check the clutter of each location closely. The app even gives you instructions on how to avoid the crowds of popular websites.

Google claims that this feature can potentially save hours of life and also help prevent stress. The company announced that this feature will be rolled out worldwide during the “holiday season,” which will take place in December for clarification. That means Android and iOS users should expect to see it in the coming weeks.
