WhatsApp Will Soon Allow You To Hide Your Last Viewed From Certain Contacts
WhatsApp is working on a list of new features for the chat app and the latest one leaked today aims to improve Last Seen.
As always, the leak came from none other than WABetaInfo, the development team known for leaking WhatsApp’s upcoming features.
As per the latest leak, WhatsApp will soon allow you to hide your last seen status from certain contacts. Currently, you can only hide your recent views from all or none of your contacts.
This feature is intended to further improve data protection and anonymity on WhatsApp. Admit that we all have curious contacts that lie in wait for us and disturb us during our last visit.
It could be your co-workers, your bosses, your strict parents, your young cousins, your extended family members who have nothing better to do, or anyone else.
This new feature should be ideal for those who just want to hide their last seen from a few annoying contacts.
The new “Last Seen” option is currently in beta testing by a limited number of users. There’s no official word on WhatsApp yet, so it’s unclear when the feature will roll out to everyone.

The news comes shortly after WhatsApp announced a major update to the chat app called Multi-Device Support. This will keep your WhatsApp Web or WhatsApp Desktop online even if your smartphone has been disconnected or the battery is empty.
You can connect to 4 different devices without having to keep your phone online.
