Bomb Threats Attacked Three Other Major Universities MIT, NYU, And USC
At least three other prominent universities evacuated parts of their campus due to bomb threats on Thursday after a list of hoax bomb threats surfaced at other schools last week.
In response to recent bomb threats, evacuations were ordered to the campuses of New York University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the University of Southern California.
NYU evacuated three buildings and reopened two hours after they were evacuated by police.
Cambridge police said MIT received a bomb threat over the phone but found that all buildings were safe after two hours. USC evacuated three buildings but reopened them 20 minutes later when they were also declared safe.

Columbia, Cornell, and Brown Universities received bomb threats Sunday.
The same thing happened Saturday at the University of Miami and Friday at Yale.
Neither threat was deemed credible, although New Haven police said the FBI was involved in the search for the culprit and that the incidents could be linked.
