Paul Millachip was a British national who was killed by a great white shark while swimming in the sea while his wife and children watched from the shore.
Paul Millachip was in the ocean off Western Australia where he swam frequently when attacked by shark witnesses who said he was around four feet long.

Paul Millachip Killed By Shark Attack At Port Beach
A giant shark was reportedly seen in the water before Mr. Millachip was killed, as per the 9News.
But Millachip said the attack off Port Beach in Fremantle “came out of nowhere,” news.com.au reports.
Mr. Millachip was a frequent visitor to the famous beach and his two adult children were also there at the time of the attack.
His wife said a group of teenagers who saw what was happening rushed into the sea to warn other swimmers of the danger.
“Rest in peace Paul,” she said, fighting back tears as she addressed the media, adding: “He died doing what he loved to do, which is to do some exercise.”
After reports of the attack on Mr. Millachip, emergency services were called to Port Beach, North Fremantle, shortly after 10 a.m. on Saturday.
Several people witnessed it, including four teenagers running along the coast in their boat to warn others.
“It must have been an absolutely terrible experience for you, so my heart goes out to you,” Ms. Millachip said when her voice failed.

“I appreciate what you have done. Great. You might have been able to save other lives.”
The couple was from the UK, but the rest of their family were unable to travel to support them during the tragedy due to border restrictions, he said.
Ms. Millachip said her partner, 35, is in great shape and competes in triathlons and marathons.
