You Will Soon Be Able To Change Your Data Protection Settings On The WhatsApp Web
WhatsApp plans to add new features to the web version of its application, also known as WhatsApp Web.
On the desktop version, you will soon be able to change your privacy settings, including your last viewed profile picture, the About section, and more.
Currently, WhatsApp Web does not allow you to change these settings through the desktop application or the browser version. You can only edit what they are currently on your phone.
WABetaInfo, the website that tracks upcoming beta WhatsApp features, reports that WhatsApp will add these features soon with a new update. The new multi-device feature makes WhatsApp Desktop independent of your phone, so the company gradually adds all the missing features.

The above screenshot shows how to use WhatsApp Desktop to change privacy settings and change who can see your personal information. This includes your last viewed profile photo, information, read receipts, groups (which you can add to groups), and blocked contacts. Contact blocking was already available in the desktop app, but it will be moved to the privacy section.
It’s unclear when the feature will be available to everyone, but it should be available to beta testers soon. Once it’s available to beta testers, it won’t be long before we see a stable update.
