The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that the moon is likely to be visible on June 7 (Friday) in the month of Zil Hajj.
According to these predictions, the first day of Eid-ul-Adha in Pakistan is expected to be on June 17.

If the moon sighting matches these expectations, the Eid-ul-Adha festival will begin on Monday and continue till Wednesday.
The holiday usually begins a day before Eid to celebrate Arafat Day, the ninth day of Hajj. This year, Arafat Day in Pakistan is scheduled to be celebrated on Sunday.

Since Saturday and Sunday are already non-working days for the government and private sector, Pakistanis are expected to enjoy a five-day holiday period for Eid-ul-Adha.
The government of Pakistan will give the final confirmation of the holiday after the official sighting of the moon for Zil Hajj.
